DECAF - Sugarcane EA Process - Veracruz
For our first decaf offering, we've selected the sugarcane ethyl acetate process which avoids the chemicals, high heat and pressure typically used to remove caffeine from coffee beans. This results in decaf that is nearly identical in taste to regular coffee yet is 98% caffeine free.
While sourcing the green coffee for decaf, we found our perfect match in Veracruz, Mexico, known for its elevated mountainous terrain, unique coffee and bountiful sugarcane used in the EA process.
